Im not receiving my validation code to reset my password
I don´t know my password for my account my account does exist for the college I´m applying to is just I forgot my password, and I have to recover it
The following steps will allow you to receive your verification code and move forward with account recovery. If this does not work for you, please call our Helpdesk at 877-247-4836 where agents are available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
1.) Go to www.cccapply.org and select your college from the drop down menu and click 'Apply'
2.) Select the online application link(s) from the Admissions page and click 'Sign In'
3.) Select 'Recover Account' and enter your Email address or mobile phone and date of birth.
4.) You will be prompted to select a way to receive a verification code by email or mobile phone as long as your information is still valid on your OpenCCC account.
5.) If an account is not found, or your information is no longer valid, please call our Helpdesk.
Yeah, those steps provided don't work at all. The system is not sending recovery emails, and there is no option whatsoever to select phone/SMS. The date entry widget is not working in Safari 15.3 either, even when trying to manually enter the date. The Helpdesk is pretty useless, since it hangs up after 30 minutes and sends you to the end of the queue when you dial back in. Not sure how much this is costing taxpayers, but seems like we are not getting our money's worth.
I see you were able to gain access to your account and submit your application. Please allow 1-2 business days for the college to email your student information to you along with your next steps.
I have the same issue. I go to recover my account and asked me to put in the verification code that they sent my recovery email but I never get an email. I have tried this multiple times and I’ve waited hours and I’ve still not gotten any email.
Have you checked your spam or junk folder for the verification code. If you still haven't received the verification code in your email, please try recovering your account using your mobile number.
