I registered as a new student but for some reason, it took me to the page recover account.

as far as I know, this is the first time, I have registered at Coast Community College.

    OpenCCC accounts are used to apply to any of our 116 California Community Colleges. If you have applied in the past to any of our colleges then you would have an existing OpenCCC account. Please use the steps below to recover your account.

    1.) Go to www.cccapply.org and type the name of the college and click 'Apply'

    2.) Click Sign In.

    3.) Select 'Recover Account' and enter your last name and date of birth. 

    4.) You will be asked to select a way to receive a verification code based on the contact information listed on your OpenCCC account.

    5.) If an account is not found, or your information is no longer valid, please call our Helpdesk.
