Update: Student Account and Application Systems Unavailable Pending Final Deployment Steps

The deployment of the new California Community Colleges (CCC) student account system is in its final steps. The following student systems are unavailable until the deployment is complete:

  • CCC Student Account system (OpenCCC)
  • CCC Student application system (CCCApply)
  • CCC Student Onboarding system (CCC MyPath)

An update will be posted on this forum when these systems are available.

  • This is so inconvenient. I need to apply as a spring semester student ASAP to my college (I am currently enrolled for Summer 2022 only). Classes have already begun and the last days to add are this week.

  • Do we keep checking back? I mean, I've tried for the last 48 hours to create my account to apply. Is there some way we can be updated via email or text? Or do we just keep trying 4 or 5 times a day?

    I'm having trouble trying to log in because the number I used a few years ago is not the same number that I have. I dont remember my password because it's been so long.

    The reason you can't sign in is because you don't have your correct username/password. Please call our helpdesk at 1-877-247-4836 so that we can verify that you are the account holder and provide you with your username. In addition, we can also update your email address so that you can self recover your account.

    I see that you have submitted your application on the 24th. The same username/password that you used on the 24th should still be able to sign you in. Also the only thing you will need to change on your new application is the semester dates so have you tried contacting the college to see if they can change your summer application to spring instead.

    CCCApply and OpenCCC is still experiencing technical issues. If you are not able to create your account by using a different browser or on your mobile data, I recommend that you contact the college to see if they have a paper application that you can complete.

    Please contact our helpdesk at 1-877-247-4836 so that we can verify that you are the account holder and recover your username for you as well as updating your email address. Once your email address has been updated, you should be able to self recover your account.

    This is a huge bummer. I wanted to apply so I can get my 9 digit pierce ID, I get to the final steps and right when I try to submit my college application The whole site just shuts down . Its now been 5 days since this happened and now I cannot enroll into my spring semester classes because of this . Hopefully the site will be up asap.

    The application to my knowledge does not shut down. There is a current bug/issue where students are getting an unexpected error message when they submit their applications. Have you tried contacting the college to see if they can offer you a paper application?

  • How would I get a paper application ? the Pierce College website doesnt provide one and I really want to apply before the spring semester starts .

  • I would appreciate if the issue was fixed soon. Class sign ups end in 2 days and I will have to wait a whole semester to sign up for classes after that.

  • I have contacted Sierra college and asked if I can get paper application since we are running out of time and I was told that I should not . Also they said that they can see everything (all my info ) in CCC account but they can’t download my application and there is nothing they can do about it . I don’t understand none of it . Please help , there is only two days left to enroll for Spring semester .

    Can you open up a support ticket in our helpdesk so that we can look into the issue as to why the college is not able to download your application. Our email address is [email protected] For the subject line can you write something like Re: Tee-Sierra College Application Download Issues.

    Unfortunately when it is a major issue like this one, it does take time to resolve and fix. You can always contact the college directly to see if they have a paper application or wait and applied for the summer or fall semester.

    Unfortunately the issue is not something that can be fix ASAP. Since it is a major issue, it requires more time to resolve and fix. Have you already attempted to self recover your account?

  • It is iso frustrating to go to the process of signing in for Alameda College! I have been trying since January 24 and the system is down. I went in person to the college 4 times already and can't get any help. It is so sad to see the level of incompetence, Spring session started already.

  • I am in the same boat as everyone else, did want to mention that most schools offer 2nd term classes so there's hope. :'(

  • I'm trying to apply to get CCCID and get registered with CCC in order to enroll at Sierra College and it's not letting me do anything . when I try to create an account it says that the account exists already, and when I go to recovery it says account is not recognized by our system. please help, we have only two days left to get into Spring semester . please , please

  • How long would you think it would take to resolve this issue? I also talked to the admin in pierce college and they said somehow they received a random application through ccc apply yesterday which I dont know how that happened.

    Paper applications are very unlikely. I would like to know an estimate date to whether or not this will get fixed by next week or not
