OpenCCC Error

I am currently using OpenCCC to apply for a fee waiver of the upcoming fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters, and while filling out the CCPG, I noticed that the site is asking me for my parents' 2019 gross income and all other income from that year. Wouldn't this be incorrect? I was under the impression that when filling out the CCPG they want the previous financial year's information, so I am assuming that the form should be asking for their 2020 gross income and all other income rather than the 2019. What should I do? Should I postpone submitting an application until this issue is fixed? Or should I enter their 2020 tax information as I had already planned?

Comments

  • Hello,

FAFSA and CCPG will require 2019 tax information for the 2021/2022 award year. If there have been significant changes to income after 2019 I would suggest discussing this with your financial aid office after your applications have been submitted to see if this is information that can be updated.

    Thank you,
