OpenCCC Account Confusion...
Hello,
I am a parent helping my son attend his first year in college at ARC. When creating an OpenCCC account it says apply to college.
My son has already signed up to ARC and has his classes. Does he still need to create an account on here to apply for the California College Fee Waiver? Formerly the "Bog Fee Waiver"? If so, how or where does he go? Thank you for your time and help with this matter.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jerry

Hello Jerry,
If your son has already applied with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA for the 2020-2021 Academic year, the college will already be able to determine his eligibility for the California College Promise Grant (CCCPG) formerly known as the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver BOGFW. If he is only interested in applying for the CCCPG, he will need to sign in with his CCCApply or OpenCCC account credentials below:

I am an adult student from Monrovia Liberia seeking life skills career at your institution, Does the institution offer co-operative program (degree or graduate diploma?)

Do you offer scholarship opportunities for international students intending to study in your diploma program?

Hi Micah,
Unfortunately we are not a college or institution so we are not able to provide you the answers to your questions. To find out if there is co-operative program or scholarships for international students, please correctly email the college you want to attend.

Your system is not allowing me to use my social security number. I tried several times to enter my social security number and your system is telling me that my social security number is not valid. I've had this social security number since 1970. I don't know why it keeps telling me that my social security number is not valid.

Hello,
Please be sure when you enter your SSN you are not entering any dashes. If this does not resolve the issue, I would suggest calling our Helpdesk so an agent can assist with your OpenCCC account creation. Agents are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
