Why aren't trade and vocational schools part of the CVC Distance Education Catalog initiative? Or out-of-state schools?

California colleges and universities must pass a detailed evaluation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in order to become accredited. It is widely considered the most rigorous regional quality-control process in higher education in the United States. As for out-of-state institutions, this site is supported though public funds provided by California state government. Out-of-state schools must look for similar support to their own state authorities.
