Hi Juan,

If your major is not listed on the application, unfortunately your college does not offer that major. Most of time, it will offer courses that you can take to be transfer over to a university to complete your degree. Since your major is not offer by your college, please select and choose a major that closely matches with education. If there is nothing that matches to education, I recommend that you choose a major that will be related to your career/profession.

Thanks for the reply. But I do think the Pasadena City College offerings my intended major. I saw the course details and schedule as attached webpage on Pasadena City College website. And I didn’t see any of the major matching Teaching as a profession. So I really need your help in completing my application. Million thanks!

Hi Juan,

Unfortunately PCC does not offer your major for teaching. If teaching was a major that they offer, you would have already found it by now on the list. However because its not on the list, they do not offer the major.

From the screenshot you provided, I am only seeing that they are offering a course for teaching as a profession but NOT teaching as a major being offered. Moving forward, since you cannot find anything close to teaching, contact the Admissions Office and see directly if they offer teaching and also what major to select on the application. As well, schedule an appointment with a academic counselor for help with this and to assist you with your education plan at PCC.
