Is it possible to apply to two community colleges in different districts?

I am currently a student at a community college, but would like to take a summer class at a different college. When I tried to apply, the education section asks for previous colleges attended, and within that it asks to enter the date you left whatever college you attended so I'm not sure about what to do.

Hi Mary,

Yes, as a student you can indeed apply and attend two different community colleges at once. Just make sure that your classes are not conflicting with one another and you have enough time to study and complete your assignments. Now as far as the application asking you to complete the section regarding previous colleges attended, this actually does not apply to you because it is only asking you about your previous colleges and not your current one. Keep in mind, previous colleges means that you have attended that college with a start and end date so being that you are still current with your college, this section actually does not apply to you. I hope this helps you and please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you out with. Best of luck.

If I decided to take a summer class at a different college than the one I'm currently attending, would it be okay if I entered the date this semester ends as the "attendance ended date" even though I'm still attending my current college next fall?

Hi Mary,

Because it says to include your current colleges attending as well, then in this case, you would want to provide the end date as the date you are expected to graduate or finish. This way, it is more accurate compare to when the semester ends.
