Hi everyone, I am a U.S. citizen, does anyone know if I am qualified to register for the new Calbright Community College that just recently opened this October 1st, 2019?

Also, I am currently a student at Mt. San Jacinto College, but I am not registered for this Fall semerster.  The reason why is that I have been placed on academic probation, and I have been asked to sit out.  Next, I have been an MSJC college student since 2007.   Can I cancel my enrollment at Mt. San Jacinto College in order to register for Calbright Community College?  Told me that I cannot be enrolled in two colleges at the same time, is this true?  Thank you.

Hello Javier,

For most students you are allowed to be enrolled in more than one college per term, however being that you are on academic probation the guidelines may be different. We recommend making an appointment with your counseling department at San Jacinto College to find out if that is something that is allowed for someone in your situation. They will also be able to give you more information on what is involved with your academic probation and how long that period of time will be for you specifically, as well as when you will be allowed to reapply to your college to start taking classes again.
